Gold Rush Orienteering

 

We HAD a great time on Saturday 14th March 2015. 

The Day 'O', day orienteering, event is an introductory level event that is fun for more experienced competitors too. The was held at New Hogan reservoir about 40 minutes North Modesto on March 14th 2015.

at 8:30am. Was is a great way to brush up your orienteering skills for the bigger races later in the year. Camping is available at Acorn camp area on Friday night which is walking distance from the start area.

This event is a low key orienteering event. $10 per person for map. $10 per person for barbecue and refreshments after the event. .$5 if under 25. Girl scouts and Boy scouts free.

We also have orienteering clinics at various times depending on demand. Please email if you are interested in a clinic,. They are usually held at East la Loma park in Modesto.
